Role
This specific role is in the Install Manufacturing Assurance team. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity and responsibility to:
- Work with Lam Product Groups and Regional Account Teams to gain an understanding of our customer needs and product quality expectations.
- Engage with Production, Production Quality and Supply Chain to understand Lam total product manufacturing processes.
- Work with cross-functional teams from Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering,Customer Site FSE, Supply Chain and other disciplines to develop and implement improvement plans.
- Develop analytics to correlate issues between MFG and Install to prioritize and resolve
- Represent Manufacturing Quality on Global Quality teams and projects
- Support globalization of Best Known Mfg Quality practices throughout Lam Global Manufacturing infrastructure.
- Assess all quality issues impacting Install, verify resolution activities are in process, and partner with respective organizations where necessary to drive corrective action
- Prepare Account team presentations for escalated Quality Issues/concerns.
- Facilitate with all stakeholders to establish priorities & implementation plans.
- Own and manage quality expectations of new orders (systems, upgrades, retrofits, refurb) for Lam.

- Quality Engineering
- Strong English communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and data driven decision making Skills
- Understanding Lean and/or Six Sigma concepts and bonus any certification
- Knowledge and demonstrated use of quality, data and statistical tools
- 5 Why’s analysis, Kaizen, brainstorming sessions, problem solving techniques, FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams.
- Advanced Excel, Access
- JMP/Minitab
- SQL and Data Visualization Programs
- Effective teamwork skills, both as a team lead and team participant
- Ability to exercise influence management
- Advanced MS Skill(Excell, word, ppt)
- 8D Process
- Experienced in ISO procedure management
Education And Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in applied physics, Software / Electrical / Mathematics or (technical) Quality management.
- 0- 3 years of work experience in manufacturing quality department.
- Experienced in quality methods and tools like e.g., 6 Sigma, value stream analysis, 5 Why’s analysis, Kaizen, brainstorming sessions, problem solving techniques, FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa diagrams.
- Experienced in quality analysis tools Minitab, JMP,Python.
- if possible: Knowledgeable in international quality standards (ISO9001), process assessments and audits.
- Ability to manage complex relationships between various professional disciplines and organizational levels quality engineer
- Excellent stakeholder management and team leader skills, able to collaborate across all levels of the organization with an open attitude.
- Excellent ability to manage change with the ability to overcome resistance and persist in achieving mission
