Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting production operations, ensuring efficiency and quality throughout the process. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for hands-on work and a desire to contribute to the success of our production team.
Duties
- Identify customer product and packaging.
- Follow department work instructions and customer part specific criteria
- Visual inspect 100% of parts plated for cosmetic defects
- Properly package parts in appropriate packaging per the individual part work instructions
- Accurately and legibly log results of inspection for each lot of parts and report to supervisor
- Manually clip plastic gates from parts within guidelines when needed
- Effectively communicate any high rate defective product issues with supervisor(s)
Requirements
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining individual productivity.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods during shifts (breaks approximately every 2 hours).
