The QC inspector will be responsible for performing incoming receiving and final inspection activities. Utilizing inspection tools, the QC inspector will be required to record data and store the data in a digitized format/ERP system. Report all activities in responsible area to QA Engineer as required.

Responsibilities:

At times, this position may require working in a Class 100 cleanroom environment.
Perform mechanical and visual inspection on a variety of incoming and final components for conformance to blueprints and/or SOPs with stated requirements.
Writes non-conforming material reports on all components that are considered defective/not in compliance with requirements.
Understand and enforce regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Creating digitized copies of Manufacturing Orders, inspection reports, and other necessary documentation.
Performs daily, routine, and preventative maintenance/inspection on inspection tools/equipment.
Follows all safety rules and procedures.
Present a positive and respectful professional image towards customers and co-workers and make decisions based on company policies and processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Experience and Skills:

Knowledge of common inspection tools; micrometers, calipers, height gages, sight scopes, and other inspection tools as required.
Ability to read and interpret written information and blueprints (knowledge of GD&T fundamentals a plus).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and quality focused.
Strong computer skills.
Previous weldment inspection experience preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 preferred.
Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Some technician coursework and/or technical degree/equivalent preferred

Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.
Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to chemicals.
May involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers, faxes, computers, etc.
