Job Summary:
The A/R Quality Specialist ensures the quality of projects from sale through pre-installation, making projects NTP-ready and fundable. This role also involves managing DHB accounts, expediting their processing, and ensuring timely collection. You’ll play a key role in maintaining compliance, resolving issues, and ensuring the financial readiness of projects and accounts.
Work Setup:
This is an independent contractor role.
Full remote setup – work from anywhere.
No statutory benefits provided as per contractor agreement. (e.g. social security)
Weekly pay cycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Quality Assurance: Review all Dividend project submissions from sales to pre-installation to ensure they meet required standards by lenders, i.e. inclusion of adders, loan set-up & contract quality.
DHB Account Management: Oversee and manage DHB accounts, expediting the resolution of backlogs and ensuring timely collection.
Compliance Check: Verify that projects and DHB accounts adhere to internal and external guidelines, making them NTP-ready and fundable.
Documentation Review: Ensure all Dividend projects documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant before progression.
Issue Resolution: Identify and address any quality issues or discrepancies that could delay project funding or affect DHB account status and collection.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, project management, and installation teams to maintain quality.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance project quality, streamline DHB account processing, and optimize collections.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
2+ years in Accounts Receivable or related financial roles, with experience in DHB accounts or project quality assurance.
Prior experience in the solar industry or knowledge of solar project financing processes.
Familiarity with NTP processes and lender requirements is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in financial software, A/R systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proven ability in process improvement and quality control.
