For our Client, global automotive company, we are currently recruiting for the position:
Advanced Quality Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Throughout Product Development and Launch:
- Ensure quality requirements, customer expectations, and applicable standards are met throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept and validation to production launch.
- Evaluate project readiness at critical milestones and support decision-making regarding progression to subsequent development phases.
- Risk Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Identify, assess, and monitor quality and technical risks associated with new product development, driving appropriate mitigation actions when required.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address issues effectively and prevent recurrence.
- Promote the use of lessons learned and best practices across projects to improve future product and process performance.
- Support for APQP and Industrialization Activities:
- Contribute to product and process approval activities, ensuring documentation quality and readiness for customer and internal requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure product compliance and smooth transition into serial production.
- Monitor launch quality performance and support manufacturing teams in achieving process stability during ramp-up.
- Customer Interface and Problem Resolution:
- Serve as a quality contact during development and launch phases, supporting customer expectations and issue resolution.
- Coordinate structured problem-solving activities using recognized quality methodologies.
- Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions before project closure or transfer to series production.
Qualification:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment; automotive or electronics industry experience is an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, PPAP, MSA, Control Plan, Process Flow, 8D, and 5 Why.
- Understanding of customer quality requirements and industry quality standards.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills.
- Experience in conducting internal or supplier audits would be considered an asset.
