Based in the vibrant Cleveland, Ohio area, SecuraStock is experiencing rapid growth. We are currently on the lookout for a capable, driven, and hands-on individual to join our dedicated team. This role is unique, emphasizing breadth and adaptability over specialized depth. It encompasses various responsibilities, including order processing, receiving, incoming and finished good inspection, post-sales service, logistics, procurement, and inventory oversight.
We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual—be it a recent college graduate or a professional looking to transition into QA—with a strong background in computer science or equivalent experience. In this role, you’ll help ensure our innovative inventory management systems, mobile software, and cloud infrastructure meet the highest quality standards. You’ll work closely with our development team, learning and applying test automation techniques to deliver robust, reliable products.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Test Automation & Execution: Develop and maintain automated test scripts for our Linux-based systems. Execute both manual and automated tests for our web, mobile, and cloud applications.
Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
Collaborative Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and strategies that align with our product goals. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
Learning & Growth: Embrace opportunities to learn best practices in QA methodologies and test automation frameworks, helping to continuously improve our quality processes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with Linux: Proficiency in a Linux environment is required.
Programming Exposure: Familiarity with any programming language is a plus; experience with Python is nice, but not required.
Passion for Quality: A keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in software testing and quality assurance.
Analytical Skills: Basic understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks, or enthusiasm to develop these skills.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions: This position requires working on the production floor, with exposure to industrial machinery. Occasional lifting of parts up to 50 pounds may be required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
