Job Description :
- Support operations for inspections required by the documentation.
- Perform First Article Inspection for details parts and small sub-assemblies (as necessary)
- Ensure part is conformed to the engineering requirements and the documentation and fill-out 8130 documentation for conformity.
- Identify and document any non-conformance.
- Support non-conformance root cause analysis when required.
Qualifications:
The candidate has:
- Minimum 8+ years in Aerospace and a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 5+ years inspecting aeronautic parts
- Understanding of engineering, drawings, and GD&T
- Experience with filling 8130 documents
- Experience working on a new programs and First Articles.
- Experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Understanding and experience in AS9100 and AS9102
- Other Qualifications: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) Computer proficiency is required, team-minded, communicative, being proactive
