Job Description
Experience:
Entry-level position, minimal prior experience in aerospace inspection or quality control.
Must have previous aerospace inspection experience.
Responsibilities:
Performs basic inspections of parts, components, or assemblies.
Works under close supervision and follows standard procedures.
Uses basic inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure dimensions.
Conducts visual inspections for obvious defects.
Assists in data entry and documentation of inspection results.
Reports non-conformances but may not perform root cause analysis.
Limited involvement in more advanced inspection methods (e.g., NDT or CMM).
Go the extra mile to meet deadlines. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of those around him/her.
Perform cross-functional tasks as requested by management. Follow all company rules and policies.
Work both individually and as part of a team to maximize productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Work and communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external personnel.
Skills/Knowledge:
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints.
Familiarity with standard aerospace quality procedures and tools.
Basic understanding in interpreting specifications and standards.
