PRODUCT INSPECTOR – QUALITY CONTROL
International Cartridge Corporation is growing and expanding its Quality Control Department. We recently added an additional 10,000 square feet of manufacturing space to our facility and are looking to add personnel to our growing team.
International Cartridge Corporation is a manufacturer of small arm lead-free and frangible ammunition. We are currently accepting applications for Product Inspectors to join our Quality Control Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing a quality product and following established procedures. Wage is based on experience.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 40 paid hours per week
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Two 15-minute paid breaks during the work shift
- Occasional opportunities for overtime
- No weekend work required
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Inspectors are responsible for inspecting finished and in-process products to ensure they meet the Company’s quality standards and established quality management system procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Visually inspecting products for defects, damage, or other quality concerns.
- Sorting and identifying products that do not meet established specifications.
- Performing inspections and documenting results as required by Company procedures.
- Packaging and labeling finished products according to established procedures.
- Following written work instructions, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
- Identifying and reporting quality issues to the Inspection Supervisor.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
- Moving materials as required.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate should have:
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify differences or defects in products.
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- A dependable work history and strong attendance.
- The ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn Company inspection procedures and quality standards.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate inspection records.
- Previous manufacturing, inspection, quality control, or ammunition experience is preferred, but not required.
- We are willing to train qualified and motivated candidates for this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Perform repetitive inspection tasks requiring attention to detail.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Work in a manufacturing environment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
WORK ENVIRONMENT & DRESS CODE
Employees work in a manufacturing environment and are expected to maintain appropriate factory attire.
- Appropriate PPE must be worn when required.
- Employees are expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all Company safety procedures.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Product Inspectors report directly to the Inspection Supervisor and are responsible for following the Company’s quality management system procedures and inspection requirements.
