The Analysis Process role is a great opportunity for a technical professional to support precious metal refining, material analysis, and quality verification in a jewellery manufacturing environment. This role focuses on chemical treatment, analytical testing, and process improvement to ensure material quality and efficient reprocessing operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform acid treatment processes for refining precious metals
- Handle chemicals safely and follow strict safety protocols
- Monitor chemical reactions and ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Support continuous improvement in chemical treatment procedures
- Conduct material analysis of jewellery scrap and refined metals
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as ICP and XRF
- Record, report, and prepare documentation to verify material quality and support quality standards
- Collaborate with production teams to optimise reprocessing efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- More than 3 years of analysis experience in recycling, refining, or plating materials such as metal, gold, or silver
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with ICP or XRF equipment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of analysis for raw material manufacturing and processing
- Experience in plating company operations is an advantage
- Good English communication skills for internal communication and documentation
- Japanese language proficiency is an advantage
