Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, as well as the ability to utilize various inspection tools and techniques effectively.
Duties
Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and industry standards.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to assess product specifications.
Perform soldering tasks as necessary, ensuring high-quality connections in electronic components.
Collaborate with engineering teams using CAD software, particularly CATIA, to review designs and specifications.
Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation for quality assurance purposes.
Identify defects or non-conformities in products and recommend corrective actions.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for assembly or repair tasks as required.
Provide feedback on product quality and suggest improvements to enhance manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex mechanical systems.
Familiarity with avionics systems is highly desirable.
Experience in vehicle maintenance is a plus, demonstrating practical application of technical skills.
Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations is preferred to ensure compliance in inspections.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all inspections.
Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
