API 570 Plant Inspector, Rope Access (US based), offshore
Vacancy: API 570 Plant Inspector, with rope access (US based) for offshore work.
A Texas based inspection company is upmanning for additional adhoc work alongside their existing core contract of plant inspection and NDT.
The API inspector must already be US based and have API 570 certification and be rope access qualified, preferably IRATA. The team will consist of a Level 3 IRATA rope access supervisor and two API inspectors performing general and close visual inspection of piping. One of the API inspectors will also need to be UT ASNT or PCN certified. Inspectors must have valid BOSIET and offshore medical, with a minimum of 5 years experience in plant inspection.
Work is expected to start mid February with 14 day rotations, on a day rate basis. Mobilisation will be from Houma LA, working offshore in the continental shelf Gulf of Mexico (GoM).
