Experience: 2-4 years
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated API test scripts using REST Assured.
Perform functional, performance, and integration testing on RESTful APIs.
Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure API quality and stability.
Develop test strategies, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive API coverage.
Debug API failures, analyze logs, and report defects effectively.
Required Skills:
Hands-on experience in REST Assured for API test automation.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML.
Experience with Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI for manual API validation.
Good knowledge of test automation frameworks like TestNG/JUnit.
Familiarity with SQL databases for backend validation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker) is a plus.
