Job Description Senior Test Analyst – Motor Insurance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with strong expertise in Motor

Insurance domain testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

validating end-to-end insurance workflows, with a particular focus on integration

testing across external systems and payment gateway validation.

This role involves ensuring high-quality delivery of complex insurance platforms by

validating system integrations, customer journeys, and financial transaction accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & Quality Assurance

 Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for

motor insurance applications.

 Perform functional, system, regression, and integration testing across

multiple applications.

 Ensure complete coverage of the motor insurance lifecycle

• Policy issuance
• Renewals
• Endorsements
• Claims (basic validation where applicable)
• Integration Testing (Core Focus)

 Validate integrations between core insurance systems and external systems,

such as

• Rating engines
• Document generation systems
• Regulatory/third-party validation services
• Vehicle data providers
• Payment Gateway Testing & Validation

 Perform end-to-end testing of payment gateway integrations

• Payment initiation (UI/API)
• Payment authorization and capture
• Settlement validation
• Refunds and reversals

 Validate payment collection flows including

• Success/failure scenarios
• Partial payments
• Duplicate transactions
• Stakeholder Collaboration

 Collaborate with

• Business analysts for requirement clarification
• Development teams for defect resolution
• External vendors for integration validation

 Participate in scrum ceremonies (if Agile) including sprint planning, reviews,

and retrospectives.

• Underwriting workflows

Testing Expertise

 6–10 years of experience in software testing.

 Proven experience in

• Integration testing (must-have)

Payment Systems Knowledge

 Hands-on experience testing payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, PayU, Stripe,

or similar).

 Understanding of

• Payment flows (authorization, capture, settlement)
• Reconciliation processes
• Financial transaction validation
