This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, hours Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing reviews of internal controls, member documents, departmental functions for assigned business units in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures, and specific state or federal regulations. Responsible for checking member documents to ensure complete and accurate information. Complete related reports and paperwork to maintain and update files, while researching and resolving recordkeeping errors or discrepancies. Performs miscellaneous clerical functions, provides high quality and professional service to employees, and performs miscellaneous support functions as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensures that assigned department functions are completed in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
Tracks real estate files from the booked loans report to ensure that deeds were recorded timely, and files were received for quality review.
Performs post-close loan file review on VISA and direct auto loans.
Documents a review of file maintenance reports as scheduled according to department procedures, including but not limited to: Demographic Change, Account Information Changes, Share Dividend Changes, Dormant Account Activity, High Risk Transactions, Loans Under Acceptable Rates, and Adverse Action compliance.
Responsible for checking member and business documents, including Member Service Agreements and Business Service Agreements to ensure complete and accurate information.
Obtains and conveys information as needed.
Answers questions, resolves problems, and responds to requests for documents promptly and courteously.
Assists branches and related departments as required.
Maintains member confidentiality. Maintains confidentiality of special audits, and/or QC reporting.
Keeps management informed of area activities and of any emerging or significant problems. Provides suggestions for improved service delivery.
Maintains and protects the Credit Union’s professional reputation.
Responsible for related duties as required or assigned.
Excellent working relations must be maintained with all credit union personnel.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

A high school degree or equivalent
Additional business coursework helpful

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Knowledge with regulatory compliance
Knowledge of credit union rules and regulations
Knowledge of credit union policies, services, and procedures
Knowledge of data processing on-line system and related computer systems

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ambitious and self-motivated/directed.
Ability to work independently.
Well organized and attentive to detail.
Strong communication and phone skills.
Coordinate activities well with others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
10-key, telephone, and other basic business equipment.
