About the Role

As an integral member of the Group Digital Marketing Team, the Assistant Digital Manager shall support the execution and day-to-day operations of key digital initiatives, with a focused remit on website project rollout, affiliate marketing performance, SEO execution, and digital analytics reporting. This role requires a self-driven, detail-oriented professional who can independently partner with vendors to drive execution, translate data insights into actionable recommendations, and ensure the smooth operation of WHM's direct digital channels across Group and hotel levels.

Key Responsibilities

Website Project & Operations Management:

  • Website Project Support: Actively support the rollout and implementation of key website projects, coordinating with internal teams, IT, and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of milestones and quality outcomes.
  • Website Operations: Manage day-to-day website operations at the Group level, including content updates, quality assurance checks, and escalation of technical issues to ensure consistent site performance and user experience.
  • UAT & QA: Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new website features and functionalities, documenting feedback and following up on resolution with relevant stakeholders.

Affiliate Marketing Management:

  • Affiliate Programme Execution: Independently manage and execute affiliate marketing initiatives to drive incremental revenue performance to the direct website channel, ensuring partnership alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for affiliate vendors and partners managing contractual deliverables, performance reviews, and campaign optimisation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track, analyse, and report on affiliate channel KPIs including revenue contribution, conversion rates, and ROI, identifying opportunities for programme growth and efficiency improvement.

Support SEO, AEO & GEO Execution:

  • Drive ongoing SEO execution across WHM Group and hotel websites, including on-page optimisation, keyword management, SEO content briefing, and technical SEO follow-up in collaboration with agency partners.
  • Partner with agency to optimise content and implement structured data schema (FAQ, HowTo, Article) to capture AI-powered search features including Google AI Overviews, featured snippets, and voice search, using answer-first content frameworks targeting high-intent traveller queries.

Administrative & Budget Support:

  • Invoice Management: Handle digital agency invoice processing and settlement in a timely and accurate manner, supporting overall digital budget management and cost tracking.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide administrative and operational support to the wider Group Digital team as required, contributing to smooth team functioning and project delivery.

Qualifications

  • University Degree holder with a major in Marketing or Business, tech-savvy and innovative
  • Minimum 3-5 years of solid digital marketing experience, with demonstrated hands-on exposure to website operations, affiliate marketing, and SEO execution
  • Relevant Digital Marketing and eCommerce experience gained from Hospitality / Luxury Retail is preferred
  • Hands-on experience with analytics platforms including GA4, SEMrush, or equivalent reporting tools
  • Proven ability to manage affiliate vendors and performance marketing partnerships independently
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and website content management workflows
