ADCO Plastics is an international leader in mold building. Located in Metro Atlanta, with the plant nestled in Marietta, ADCO Plastics has been manufacturing custom injection molded assemblies and parts since 1974. We serve the medical, commercial, industrial, transportation, and retail markets with a wide range of commodity grade and engineered resins and thermoplastics rubbers. Our experienced engineers assist with product design, mold design, material selection, secondary operations, quality assurance, packaging, and shipping. With molding capabilities ranging from 25 to 700 tons, ADCO can accommodate a wide variety of part designs and complexities.
Position: Quality Manager
Full Time: Reports to General Manager. Predominantly works onsite.
Role Description:
· Leads the quality team and ensures quality standards are implemented and followed correctly.
· Ensures job books are accurate and up to date.
· Works with the manufacturing team and customers to resolve quality issues.
· Communicates with new and existing customers to ensure their quality standards are clear to the manufacturing team.
· Ensure continued compliance with ISO 9001:2015
· Ensure quality/measuring equipment is properly calibrated and accurate
· Complete PPAPs, PFMEAs, and other required reports
· Ensure quality audits are performed correctly
· Assist supply chain manager with incoming product quality
Desired Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
· Must have experience with various quality standards and certifications.
· Must have experience with PPAPs and part metrology.
· Must be able to train others to improve the team’s knowledge and execution of quality procedures and standards.
· Must be a quick/self-learner to understand, analyze, and improve various manufacturing processes and equipment.
· Must be team oriented and have the ability to lead and take responsibility for projects.
· Must have a proven history of strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
· Must be able to both work independently and collaborate with others.
· Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Must have sound verbal & written communication and problem-solving skills.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
· Experience with Six Sigma, quick change, 5S, ISO, medical, and/or automotive is a plus.
· Education – bachelor’s degree in a technical field, statistics, or similar degree a is a plus.
· Someone with a desire to be trained as a leader in a culturally diverse environment is a plus.
Compensation: $65,000 – $85,000, based on experience and capabilities.
