Job Summary: The QI/QA Coordinator will be responsible to work with the QI/QA Manager, Clinical and Administrative Team and has a high degree of responsibility in supporting the work of Innercare Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance, as well as provide general administrative support. The QI/QA Coordinator will join us in transforming healthcare data into actional intelligence. In this role, the QI/QA Coordinator will identify unique insights and solve complex challenges using a variety of data sources. The individual in this role will support the adoption of QI/QA processes to solve opportunities for improvement across Innercare. This includes supporting the identification of opportunities, establishing operational processes, driving documentation standards, and embracing modern analytic capabilities. A great candidate will have experience consulting with Innercare internal stakeholders, setting priorities, and work closely with clinical and support staff to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements, decrease duplication, and ensure compliance with HRSA, DHCS and NCQA Patient Centered Medical Home Accreditation, and other compliance.
Qualifications
§ The candidate should have the ability to develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance programs. This includes but is not limited to devising evaluation test methods and procedures.
§ Teamwork – S/he should be able to work as part of a team and be able to maintain a positive working environment. S/he should be dependable in both production and attendance.
§ Embrace a service mentality to collaborate with Operations, IT, and Clinical teams, to assure data processes are automated, efficient, and to identify insights.

§ Associate degree or equivalent experience.
§ 2+ years professional experience in NextGen electronic records systems.
§ Excellent oral and written communications skills.
§ Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders.
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and a working knowledge of NextGen EHR EPM Systems.
§ Must have excellent organizational skills and self-discipline. This entails an ability to handle changes in direction and be receptive to constructive feedback.
Responsibilities
§ Initiates, documents, and completes ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities including monthly reports and attend meetings as required.
§ Coordinates the development, implementation, and revision of the medical staff’s QI program to meet the needs of patients, staff, and external agencies.
§ Provides/supports QI leadership and consultative services to Innercare medical staff in effectively achieving regulatory accreditation and organizational compliance for QI activities.
§ Organizes, compiles, and reports QI data Clinical departments to identify trends, establish priorities, and recommend improvement activities.
§ Works with medical/clinical staff department on peer review activities.
§ Performs comprehensive, concurrent, and retrospective reviews in a timely manner, using criteria developed and approved by Innercare.
§ Reports findings to other departments such as Compliance and Risk Management.
§ Serves as a working member of Innercare’s quality council; attends staff department and committee meetings and other pertinent meetings and keeping minutes of meetings to ensure the organization’s overall QI plan implementation and compliance.
§ Keeps abreast of current NCQA PCMH standards and other accreditation standards, and the latest quality techniques in health care.
§ Responsible for data entry or to confirm mapping of data flowing electronically from other sources.
§ Monitor QI/QA SharePoint for monthly PDSA, CQI Monthly Meeting & Minutes and all QI/QA Reports.
§ Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
§ Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases.
§ Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
§ Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators.
§ Utilize the quality standards and deadlines set forth by all licensing and certifying bodies and those set by the managerial staff within the Clinical, Medical, Operational, and Research departments to audit for compliance on a standing basis.
§ Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned and needed.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Travel Requirements
§ Ability to sit and type at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
§ Travel: Up to 20% as needed/ all clinic sites as needed
§ Willingness to work off hours and overtime to attend meetings. In good physical and mental health and should be able to handle acute situations.

§ Maintain privacy of all patients, employee and volunteer information and access such information only on a need-to-know basis for business purposes. Must comply with the Innercare HIPAA and Corporate Compliance Program.
§ Comply with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations. Report unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior or activity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 – $24.00 per hour
