Job Summary
The Assistant Hygiene Manager is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness across all locations. This role ensures compliance with local health regulations and internal hygiene protocols, and promotes a food-safe culture across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and monitoring hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with local and international food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, ISO ).
Conduct regular hygiene audits and inspections across all outlets to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
Support training and development programs for staff on hygiene practices, food handling, and sanitation protocols.
Maintain and update hygiene-related documentation and checklists.
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure proper food storage, preparation, and service practices.
Assist in incident investigations related to food safety and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor pest control activities and waste management processes.
Work with suppliers and logistics to ensure the cleanliness of food packaging and transport methods.
Stay up to date with industry hygiene standards and propose improvements where needed.
Qualifications & Experience
2–4 years of experience in a food hygiene or quality assurance role, preferably in a food service or hospitality environment.
Knowledge of HACCP and other relevant food safety systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and team coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with hygiene auditing software is a plus.
Work Conditions
On-site inspections across multiple locations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
