Job Description / Responsibility
HBF was founded in 2011 in DHAKA and is a company for textile and hair products that are manufactured by hand or semi-automatically. Our products are customized and niche products for high quality goods.
Our processes range from chemical finishing of fabrics and fibers, brightening, dyeing, gluing, assembly, cutting, pressing, fiber blending to the final products. We use various TUV SUD quality assurance methods in detail, but without an overall concept.
We are more than just a manufacturer; we are also innovators. Our in-depth technical knowledge and commitment have led to many patents, and our research and development in the field of textile fibers and hair will continue to drive our business forward. Our customers are high quality textile processors worldwide who have very high-quality demands. Our engineers are able to introduce you to all the features and characteristics of our customers` quality requirements.
We are one of more than five production facilities of our group worldwide. At HBF, precision and products that withstand the daily stresses of the market are what counts.
Supervising daily production operations and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently, whilst complying with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
Your most important task in this regard is to ensure the availability of staff, raw materials, consumables and machinery as well as organizing production planning.
Production Support:
- Assist the Production Manager in daily operations on the factory floor
- Help plan and organize production schedules
- Ensure materials are available for each production line
- Monitor workflow to avoid delays or bottlenecks
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate between different departments (cutting, sewing, finishing, quality control)
- Communicate production targets and updates to line supervisors
- Follow up on instructions from management and ensure they are implemented
Documentation & Reporting:
- Follow up daily production reports (output, efficiency, defects)
- Record line performance and worker attendance
- Track order progress and update status reports
Quality Control Assistance:
- Assist in monitoring product quality at different stages
- Report defects or issues to the Production Manager (PM)
Time & Efficiency Monitoring:
- Help track production targets and ensure deadlines are met
- Identify delays and suggest improvements
- Support line balancing and efficiency improvements
Floor Supervision:
- Observe Line Officer and ensure proper workflow
- Ensure machines and operators are functioning properly
- Maintain discipline and safety standards on the floor
Inventory & Materials Handling:
- Assist in tracking raw materials and finished goods
- Ensure proper usage and minimize wastage
- Coordinate with the stock team
Compliance & Safety
- Help ensure workplace safety rules are followed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized production area
- Support compliance with factory policies and labor regulations
Educational Requirements
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Industrial Management, Industrial Eng & Production
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Industrial Management, Industrial Eng & Production
Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments, Textile Handicraft
Additional Requirements
- Organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Very good in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze complex production data and make informed decisions
- Proven ability to handle sensitive data with integrity and confidentiality
- Quick to adapt and ready to handle new challenges as they come up
