Perform Installation and commissioning of all machinery in vessels. Check the systems for installation as per schematic/ operational drawings

 Ensure Inspection of the equipment and preparing commissioning procedure. Conduct testing of systems includes HPT (Hydraulic pressure testing) fuel oil system, fresh water system, lube oil system, thermal oil system, sea water system, compressed air system, deck machine.

 Liaison with OEMs for trials and commissioning of Machinery.  Check systems with Owner, QC, Class Related to DG, Main Engine, Boiler, Oily water separator fresh water generator, purifiers, Sewage treatment plant. Hydrophore system, all kinds of pumps. Emergency DG, incenator, harbour sea water pump, main engine sea water pumps, forward loop, after loop.

 Check all mechanical, electrical equipment as per Standard trial protocol.

 Handle over all trial and prepare reports and relevant documents for representative of Owner

 Evaluate and review production drawings to improve the productivity and reduce/ eliminate rework in final production process

 As per budget manage the cost in production processes.

 Co-ordinate with production and design department to ensure internal and external timelines are met with the support of respective teams.

 Prepare the check – lists in accordance with the PDCA (Plan, do, check and act) and implement the root – cause analysis.

 Implement EHS requirement and ensure zero accident rate.

 Manage and develop subordinates on various Shipbuilding process.  In addition execute any other jobs/tasks as assigned from time to time.
