Job Purpose
To lead and manage quality data analytics initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights for continuous improvement of product quality, operational performance, and compliance. The role involves collaboration with QA, operations, merchandising, and store teams to identify quality trends, root causes, and drive preventive and corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Data Management & Analysis
Collect, consolidate, and validate quality-related data from warehouses, stores, vendors, and customer complaints.
Analyze rejection rates, repair trends, weight deviation, and QC failure data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) implementation with data insights.
Dashboard & Reporting
Design and manage real-time dashboards for QA performance metrics.
Generate weekly/monthly/quarterly quality reports (SKU-wise, category-wise, vendor-wise, store-wise).
Collaborate with the IT/ERP team for system integrations and automation of QA data capture.
Process Improvement
Highlight systemic quality issues and support cross-functional teams in addressing them.
Monitor vendor performance based on quality metrics and help drive improvement initiatives.
Support training needs identification based on analytical findings.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure analytics supports audit trails and traceability for regulatory and internal audits.
Maintain data hygiene and confidentiality.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of quality control/assurance processes (preferably in jewellery/retail).
Excellent skills in Excel, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
Working knowledge of ERP systems, SQL, or data extraction tools is preferred.
Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
Strong communication skills to work across teams.
Attention to detail and process-oriented.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in Engineering/Statistics or equivalent; Post-graduation preferred.
5–8 years of experience in quality management, with at least 2 years in a data/analytics-focused role.
Experience in retail, jewellery or manufacturing industry preferred.
