Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Thívai for an Assistant Manager of Quality Control. The Assistant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the quality control department, ensuring all products meet rigorous quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with production teams to address and prevent quality issues.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Control, Compliance, and Manufacturing Processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications such as ISO 22000 and FSSC 22000
- Skills in Monitoring, Problem Solving, Process Evaluation, and Reporting
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities to manage a team and liaise effectively with various departments
- Proficiency in data analysis, documentation, and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in Thívai and adapt to a fast-paced production environment
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in the food industry is highly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek is a plus
