Position: Assistant QA/QC – UAE Seafood Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant QA/QC to oversee and manage the

quality control

processes in our UAE seafood production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

quality control

, production management, and team coordination within the seafood industry, ensuring all products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately. Execute internal training programs for staff on

quality control

standards and procedures. Monitor the entire processing stage from receiving raw materials to packing the final product, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations. Quickly identify quality issues and collaborate with the QAM and production staff to implement corrective actions on the line.

Handle product sample preparation as per customer requirements and verify specifications. Verify online QC tasks, including CCP checks, and monitor stock quality to advise the sales/export team on product selection. Verify the accuracy of labels for export packing in both EFP and CFP. Provide regular reports to procurement and QAM on the

quality inspection

of locally purchased products. Accompany auditors and visitors during

quality assurance

audits.

Attend to customer/visitor inquiries in the production area. Work closely with the operations team on modifications to plant layouts and structures during

new equipment

and machinery implementation. Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards at all times. Perform incoming product inspections and oversee online process inspections.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 2-3 years of UAE Experience in the seafood industry is essential. Strong knowledge of seafood quality standards, regulations, and best practices. Excellent

attention to detail

and ability to identify quality issues quickly.
