JOB TITLE: Quality and Logistics Technician

EMPLOYER: PHA Alabama

DEPARTMENT: Quality

REPORTS TO: Quality Group Leader

EFFECTIVE DATE: 5/4/2023

SUMMARY: The Quality and Logistics Technician is responsible for achieving a high level of product quality for the door module assembly by continuously improving the process. This technician is responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipments in third-party warehouse, Daedong Hi-Lex (located in Cusseta, AL).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports quality initiatives for the PHA Body Systems plant.
Unloads and loads trailers delivered from the PHA Body Systems plant.
Organizes FG racks of door modules
Reports inventory levels to management on a daily basis.
Provides on-site shop floor troubleshooting support at the Daedong Hi-Lex and KaGA plants in regards to quality problems that may arise during assembly of the door module to the door.
Troubleshoots problems in regards to door modules shipped to KaGA from the PHA Body Systems plant.
Serves as point-of-contact for component quality issues.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other skills required:
At least one year experience in the field of Quality or Engineering
Previous experience working in the field of Quality Assurance
Must be mechanically inclined in regards to tear down and troubleshooting of quality problems
Ability to work unsupervised
Excellent math skills
