About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Quality Analyst to support enterprise data governance and remediation initiatives within the Chief Administration Office. This role is instrumental in ensuring that data used across the organization is accurate, consistent, and “fit for purpose”—particularly as the organization builds its capabilities in line with enhanced regulatory expectations.
This position reports to the Director of Data Remediation and works closely with business units, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams to support strategic data initiatives, improve data quality, and strengthen data governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Support data governance efforts across business units to enhance data quality and ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and policies.
Assess the health and integrity of enterprise data using data quality tools and defined frameworks.
Design and implement data quality controls in alignment with approved business rules and foundational data quality principles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate identified data issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Contribute to the development of data quality metrics, dashboards, and progress reports for leadership and governance forums.
Document and enhance operational data processes, including approval workflows, escalation protocols, and control adoption strategies.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, and Technology, to support broader data governance objectives.
Ensure alignment with data governance policies and evolving regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in data quality, data governance, business analytics, or related functions.
Solid understanding of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and regulatory data standards.
Experience using enterprise data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Collibra, or similar platforms).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in implementing data quality rules, monitoring metrics, and documenting operational workflows.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage cross-functional teams.
Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour
