Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team at a frozen food facility. This is a very cold, clean, and fast-paced environment, ideal for individuals who are focused on food safety, sanitation, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing frozen food products
Monitor and document temperatures, packaging, and product conditions
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas per QA protocols
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to address non-conformities
Record and report any quality issues to QA supervisor or management
Follow all safety procedures while working in cold storage environments
Requirements:
Comfortable working in a very cold environment (as low as -10°F)
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Ability to accurately document QA inspections and findings
Must be dependable and punctual
Prior experience in food QA or warehouse preferred, but not required
Willingness to learn and follow all food safety procedures
Basic understanding of QA processes a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
