Quality Assurance Lead
Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Lead to be based out of Pendleton Plant. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for monitoring operations to ensure products are being produced according to standards. They review specifications, oversee processes, and identify defects in goods and materials. Some quality control inspectors make suggestions to improve the efficiency and accuracy of machines and operations. They will also be responsible for supervising a small team.
What you’ll do:
Quality Assurance Lead responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead investigation of customer complaints and non-conforming parts in the process.
Manage Plant calibration system (quality equipment)
Lead cross-functional team troubleshooting and problem-solving meetings aiming for the resolution of customer complaints, audit failures, and in-process failures.
Run required tests such as dimensional, impact, burst, crush, and any other pertinent or requested test.
Ensure all records of audits, tests, and quality requirements are kept and available at any time.
Review reports, test results, and documents generated by Quality Inspectors.
Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, investigate, and take corrective action, make recommendations on preventative measures, and document findings.
Provide guidance and train employees on QA processes and standards.
Able to collaborate with various internal departments to cooperatively meet the company’s Quality Control goals.
Ability to read and understand QC forms and production standards. Use measuring tools such as micrometers, OD tapes, and tape measures.
What you’ll bring:
5+ Years of previous experience in QA
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations.
Must be adaptable to changes.
Metrology
The employee will be required to focus on reading/evaluating documents and is expected to have great attention to detail.
Quality previous experiences are mandatory.
Within 3 months, you’ll:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $25 to $28 an hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
