Associate Quality Analyst Jobs in Maryland at The Coordinating Center
Position Summary:
PACE KC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This position offers the unique opportunity to work closely with the Director of Quality and Compliance to implement auditing and quality improvement strategies that identify and address areas of greatest risk to the organization. Position will gain experience analyzing quality metrics based on the PACE code of federal regulations as outlined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Primary Functions:
Collaborate with the Director of Quality and Compliance to review and assess quality metrics and identify key risk areas for the organization.
Support the implementation of the “Plan-Do-Study-Act” (PDSA) methodology to streamline the auditing process for maximum efficiency.
Serve as a primary resource for PACE team members to ensure accurate application of Quality Policies and Procedures including by not limited to service determination requests, grievances, appeals and the Morning Meeting spreadsheet.
Responsible for the implementation and completion of detailed tasks and activities related to service determination requests, appeals, and grievances.
Support the staff through the preparation for and successful completion of all state and federal audits.
Active member of the PACE Solutions, Quality, and Fall Committees.
Conduct audits and assist in the preparation of reports on audit findings, making recommendations for improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve processes related to quality assurance and compliance.
Assist Health Information Coordinator in Medical Records gathering and uploading or other duties as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and data analysis reports to track the progress of quality improvement initiatives.

Education, Certification, and Experience:
Minimum
High school diploma
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
Proficiency in Excel (ability to manage and analyze large datasets, create reports, and perform data visualizations).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong interest in healthcare quality, regulatory compliance, and process improvement
Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts effectively.
Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification, preferred.
