LAYOUTindex (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated Associate QA Engineer to join our growing QA team.
If you are passionate about software quality and have hands-on experience in automation testing with Cypress or Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), we’d love to hear from you!
What you will do:
- Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements
- Create and maintain test plans and test documentation
- Identify, log, and track software defects
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Cypress or Playwright
- Perform regression and end-to-end testing
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ year experience in QA (manual testing is essential)
- Prior experience in automation testing using Cypress or Playwright
- Good knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and defect lifecycle
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Team player with a strong willingness to learn
