Mon Cheri Bridals, LLC, a leading social occasion dress manufacturer, seeks an experienced Seamstress and Quality Assurance professional to join our growing team.
We are looking to add experienced, energized, and enthusiastic new team members who like the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment. The Seamstress/ Quality Assurance opportunity is a “hands-on” position. This individual is responsible for identifying and documenting product quality concerns. Support the Design department by making garment adjustments and the Customer Service department by fulfilling component requests and offering advice on alterations.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming production and communicate any production variances
Minor repairs and cleaning of garments
Maintain inspection records
Work closely with the merchandise team preparing for selection meetings, steaming dresses, dressing models, and assisting in other duties
Requirements
Strong knowledge of garment construction fit and design.
Demonstrated ability to sew garments with needle and thread and by machine.
Demonstrated ability to adjust / correct garments based on design changes
Strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift/ move up to 10 pounds
