Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves monitoring and evaluating production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality assurance protocols. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with production teams to uphold compliance with industry regulations and internal quality systems.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols in accordance with ISO 9001 and CGMP guidelines.
Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurements and evaluations of product dimensions.
Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
Participate in the development and implementation of HACCP plans to ensure food safety standards are met.
Assist in training staff on quality control procedures and best practices related to QA/QC standards.
Analyze data from inspections to identify trends and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
Skills
Strong understanding of quality systems, including ISO 9001 and CGMP regulations.
Proficiency in HACCP principles and their application within manufacturing environments.
Experience using Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred.
Familiarity with fabrication processes related to product development is a plus.
Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and best practices in quality control.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining independent judgment when necessary.
