Job Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of product quality through rigorous inspection and testing processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed inspections of incoming raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Document inspection results accurately using quality control forms, inspection checklists, and digital recording systems.
Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards to the Quality Manager or designated personnel promptly.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
Conduct product testing using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and equipment to verify dimensions, functionality, and performance.
Maintain inspection equipment in good working condition, including performing regular calibration and cleanliness checks.
Participate in quality audits and assist in preparing for internal and external audits by compiling documentation and facilitating inspections.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assist in training new employees on quality control procedures and standards as needed.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing quality processes.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality assurance is preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong understanding of quality control standards, methodologies, and inspection techniques.
Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., gauges, scales, optical comparators).
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with quality management software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
