Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with a strong foundation in Python and Robot Framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who are eager to grow their skills in software testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases using Python and Robot Framework.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on software applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in test planning and strategy discussions.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language.
- Proficiency in Robot Framework for test automation.
- Experience with Selenium for web application testing is a deal breaker.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
