To lead and manage all Electrical Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) activities in the offshore fabrication yard, ensuring electrical works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, international standards, statutory regulations, and client requirements.
- Lead and supervise the Electrical QA/QC team in the fabrication yard.
- Develop, review, and implement Electrical ITPs, Procedures, Method Statements, and Quality Control plans.
- Ensure effective implementation of Project Quality Plan and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Manage QC activities for electrical works including:
- Cable trays, conduits, and supports
- Power, control, and instrumentation cabling
- Glanding, termination, and ferruling
- Switchgear, MCCs, panels, transformers
- Lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems
- Electrical equipment installation for offshore modules and packages
- Ensure installation is as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
- Review and approve electrical inspection and test records.
- Witness and verify electrical testing activities such as:
- Insulation Resistance (IR) & Continuity Tests
- Earth resistance testing
- Functional and pre?commissioning checks
- Coordinate with third?party and statutory authorities for inspections and approvals.
