Senior Quality Specialist
We have a rewarding opportunity for a Senior Quality Specialist to join our team in Santa Clarita, CA.
As our Senior Quality Specialist, you are responsible for the inspection of a variety of material and assemblies at receiving, in-process, and final inspection to ensure compliance with internal and customer requirements. You will have a strong understanding of quality inspection techniques, industry standards, and the ability to interpret technical documentation. In addition, the Sr. Quality Specialist will also be responsible for supporting a variety of other quality functions.

Salary Range: $ 24.86 – $33.17 per hour

Your Challenge:
Interpret purchase orders, work instructions, engineering drawings, specifications, and standards to ensure accurate inspections.
Use calibrated measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges) to verify parts.
Generate reports for non-conformances, support in the disposition of non-conforming material, and track nonconformances to ensure timely closure.
Prepare and review First Article Inspection Reports.
Support Corrective Action Requests.
Facilitate internal audits.
Recommend and implement improvements to inspection procedures and quality processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
What You Bring:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality inspection in aerospace, defense, or heavily regulated manufacturing.
Strong understanding of industry standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC, MIL-STD, etc.).
Experience with preparation and review of First Article Inspection Reports.
IPC-A-610 certification
