GECO Asia is Hiring: Automation Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level QA) We are looking for an Automation Engineer to support the development and execution of automated and manual tests to ensure software quality. Work closely with QA and development teams to maintain automation suites, execute test cases, and track defects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Support and enhance existing automation frameworks
- Review requirements and contribute to test plans and cases
- Execute functional, regression, and feature testing
- Log, track, and verify defects
- Maintain test documentation and results
- Participate in defect triage and QA process improvements
Qualifications
- 2–3 years QA or automation experience
- Experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
- Exposure to Appium (preferred)
- Programming skills in Python or JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with software testing concepts
Nice to Have
- API testing (Postman or similar)
- CI/CD exposure
- Python for data validation
- RPA tools (e.g., UiPath)
