Your new role
As a Test Manager, you will operate at a programme level, reporting to the Programme Test Manager and overseeing testing activities across multiple streams.
You will:
- Own and drive the test strategy and delivery across workstreams within the programme.
- Lead and coordinate functional and automation testing efforts, ensuring alignment with programme objectives.
- Oversee the uplift of automation capability, including frameworks leveraging Playwright
- Provide leadership across test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Support quality assurance across cloud migration initiatives
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of AI-driven testing opportunities
- Provide guidance to teams while remaining close enough to delivery to add technical value when required
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Test Manager within large-scale transformation or enterprise programmes
- Strong background in test strategy, governance, and delivery management
- Solid understanding of automation testing, with experience overseeing frameworks using tools such as Playwright
- Experience operating within cloud transformation environments
- Insurance industry experience is essential, with Claims experience highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including engagement at senior levels
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with delivery execution
- Exposure to or interest in AI technologies within testing or transformation programmes
