Dawn InfoTek Inc. is a professional IT consulting team that partners with major financial institutions, investment firms, and government sectors. We are currently seeking an Automation QA Analyst for a contract opportunity.
Role: Automation QA Analyst
Location: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite
Contract Duration: July 15, 2026 to September 11, 2026
Responsibilities:
• Act as an advocate for quality throughout the project lifecycle
• Write moderate to complex automation scripts to test systems
• Design, develop, and maintain modular, reusable test automation frameworks
• Support continuous testing within an Agile environment
• Collaborate with team members to develop test approaches covering functional and performance requirements
• Work with the Delivery Lead to plan milestones, support software delivery, and escalate issues as needed
• Report defects and work closely with teams to determine, prioritize, and schedule solutions
• Prioritize testing activities across multiple business/project needs
• Conduct root cause analysis for post-production issues and recommend preventative actions
• Maintain strong understanding of products, applications, systems, environments, processes, and tools
• Support process improvements and act as an agent for change within the organization
Must Have Skills:
• 4+ years of hands-on test automation experience
• Experience testing both web and mobile applications
• 4+ years of test automation experience with Java or JavaScript
• 2+ years of recent API testing experience, preferably using Postman
• Strong experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
• Banking or financial services experience, preferably Scotiabank or another bank
• Experience with AI tools or AI-related testing
• Python experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
