JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a quality engineer who is exceptionally organized, methodical professional, with the experience necessary to take our products to the next level with respect to accuracy, security, and safety. He/she will be charged with developing a complete QA program that not only safeguards the quality of our products, but also fosters a “quality culture,” in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in both production and the finished product.
Job Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
Prepares reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data; and making recommendations
Assist operations and local quality function in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels as well as CSR, environmental and health and safety goals/KPIs
Brainstorms ideas to create solutions for identified problems
Analyse and investigate product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines and external regulatory requirements
Monitor risk-management procedures, and maintain and analyse problem logs to identify and report recurring issues in product development
Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes
Ensures products adhere to company and industry quality standards
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience.
Good knowledge of functional testing techniques
5+ years of professional experience in ensuring quality of web/mobile applications utilizing modern development tools, frameworks, and best practices.
Excellent proficiency in automation testing with solid knowledge of tools like Playwright/Cypress/Selenium etc.
Ability to perform automated API/security testing.
Sound knowledge of database and query languages
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of JIRA including test case management, execution, defect logging, monitoring etc.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, Docker etc.
Understanding and familiarity of Agile/Scrum methodology
Knowledge in various CI/CD tools and methodologies like Jenkins
Proficiency in automation scripting using Playwright & Typescript.
