Build test automation frameworks, design and execute automation tests for various projects.
Responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of test plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process.
• Design and develop test automation solutions that meet the business needs.
• Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach.
• Design and create automated test scripts in different test phases (e.g. smoke test, shakedown, integration
test, regression test) by using appropriate test tools (e.g., Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium, etc.)
• Execute test automated scripts.
• Analyses test automation results to ensure all requirements and standards are met, investigating defects and
solving related issues.
• Maintain automated testing scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Work with DevOps Engineers to integrate automated test suites with continuous integration and delivery
(CI/CD) pipeline to ensure efficiency and quality software releases.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT industry, including software development processes and software testing
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in creating test cases, test planning, and preparing test reports to summarize testing results.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automated tester role. Proficiency in writing automated test scripts using open-source testing tools such as Robot Framework (Python) or Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
