Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join one of our Nearshore Teams working remotely for international clients across the Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

You will act as a trusted quality partner, combining strong automation expertise with a proactive, quality-first mindset, influencing teams and ensuring quality is embedded across the full delivery lifecycle.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using mostly Playwright or Cypress;
  • Contribute to and enhance existing automation architecture with minimal ramp-up time;
  • Build, scale, and optimise automated regression suites to support continuous delivery;
  • Identify risks, gaps, and edge cases beyond acceptance criteria, driving improvements in product quality;
  • Support release activities, including production validation and critical deployment windows when required;
  • Influence and elevate testing standards and practices across multiple teams and products.

What you are like:

  • Proficient in Software Testing and Quality Assurance with strong hands-on automation experience;
  • Strong experience in Playwright or Cypress (it is mandatory to have experience with at least one of these);
  • Comfortable working with modern automation frameworks and integrating into existing architectures;
  • Quality-driven mindset, proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities beyond defined requirements;
  • Strong communicator, experienced in working with distributed and international teams;
  • Flexible to support occasional out-of-hours activities related to releases;
  • Fluent in English, as you will work daily with international teams using English as the main language.
