Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with hands-on experience in Playwright and strong programming knowledge in Java or Python. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality assurance, test automation, and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Execute test cases and analyze results
- Ensure test coverage and improve automation frameworks
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and sprint activities
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python
- Good understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
- Experience in API testing (Postman/REST Assured is a plus)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.)
- Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Exposure to performance testing is a plus
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
