Chief Inspector Requirements
Oversee and manage the inspection department to ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Develop, implement, and maintain effective inspection procedures and quality assurance programs.
Review maintenance documentation, aircraft maintenance records, and inspection logs for regulatory compliance and airworthiness.
Provide technical and regulatory guidance to inspection and maintenance teams, ensuring proper training and certification of personnel.
Address non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Chief Inspector Qualifications
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate required; FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in aircraft inspection and quality assurance.
In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, including FAR Parts 145, 121, and 43, and expertise in aircraft maintenance and inspection techniques.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and software, with a commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
