We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) in cell manufacturing. Cell manufacturing requires orders of magnitude better quality than traditional manufacturing, the key to sustained success and scalability is a robust quality system. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in project management and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do
Support the implementation and sustaining of a QMS program across all global Tesla 4680 Cell Manufacturing factories
Drive compliance to industry standards
Coordinate the execution of layered process audit across different manufacturing shops
Conduct process and system audits, based on the audit program across global Tesla 4680 Cell Manufacturing factories
Lead the resolution of the gaps found in the process/system audits, by working closely with the factory team stakeholders
Monitor health of system and data quality, support KPIs
Assist the universal adoption of best practices across the 4680 networks
Participate in detailed risk assessments at the product and manufacturing level to identify opportunity and drives mitigation of risks

What You’ll Bring
1-2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions
Detail oriented, with the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities
Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to effectively manage and execute quality improvement with different stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convince stakeholders of the value of quality systems
Passion for systematic problem-solving
Fluent with common MS office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
