We are seeking a high caliber Testing professional to join our Transformation Team to lead and set up an enterprise wide Testing function. The candidate should be able to oversee end to end testing cycle (comprising ITQA, SIT, UAT, testing Defect fix quality, QA, Sanity) with an eye on agility and test quality enabling the organization to achieve and minimize defects in deployment and directing testing efforts based on best achievable results. Should be comfortable to use and promote new age AI testing tools which enable reduction in testing cycle time along with improvement in testing assurance.
AVP – Testing Quality & Lifecycle & Portfolio Management
The candidate will be required to
• Develop and implement a UAT management framework, governance rules, policies and
standard operating procedures to ensure smooth function of the department
• Ensure high quality of UAT test scripts, planning & execution
• Manage UAT schedule for all in progress and pipelines projects
• Plan engagement / availability of required UAT resources as per the Testing timelines
• Establish a robust reporting framework which enables senior management to have a view at
planning, quality, compliance with controls & schedules of UAT portfolio of the bank
• Ensure implementation of UAT Entry and Exit criteria
• Manage UAT quality and schedule by providing the business with an understanding of the
impacts of plan / requirement change
• Design the strategic approach to manage UAT framework and support operations that fall
within the domain of UAT
• Define Key performance Indicator and performance balance score cards to monitor the
performance of UATs in progress
• Define required toolkits and templates for UAT to effectively manage UATs
• Prepare executive strategic material for senior management’s review on recurring basis
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction & process improvement to support the business
growth and contain costs
• Establish strong communication channel with all stakeholder to ensure UAT agenda is aligned
with bank’s KPIs
