Job Description:
We are looking for a highly talented Quality Inspector to join our team. Responsible for supporting and overseeing manufactured product quality. Furthermore, you are responsible for exercising your authority to stop manufacturing if, and when product is out of specification, and to report any, and all product quality issues.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Experience working in a chemical wet lab a plus.
Experience with quality management systems (QMS) a plus.
Performs quality testing in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
Accurately records and interprets data.
Audits, and analyzes system parameters to ensure optimal performance.
Able to use a computer for data entry, and emails.
Able to maintain accurate, and organized records.
Able to comply with all safety, and PPE requirements.
Able to act confidently to stop production when product is out of spec.
Good written, and verbal communication skills.
Maintains a clean working environment.
Able to maintain an accurate stock of laboratory chemicals.
Able to perform basic arithmetic.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
6-months of previous quality experience. Experience working in a quality management system (QMS) environment a plus.
Demonstrated experience working with chemicals, or in a laboratory environment.
Salary Based on Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
