Position Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans, identify issues early in the development cycle, and implement automated testing solutions. You will work closely with product and developer teams to uphold quality standards, minimize risk, and improve testing processes across our innovative platform.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Identify, document, and track bugs using modern QA tools and workflows (e.g., TestRail, Jira).
Collaborate with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria and ensure product quality.
Design and maintain automated testing frameworks that integrate with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
Enforce and help refine QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and release reviews.
Advocate for a culture of quality across the organization.
Who You Are
3+ years of professional experience in software QA or test engineering, with SaaS experience required.
Proficient with test management and defect tracking tools like TestRail and Jira.
Skilled in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Familiarity with AI or machine learning-based platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or related frameworks in health/senior tech industries.
Comfortable working in Agile development environments.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
