Position Summary
This position requires Quality control on all printed items coming off the printing belt. Perform quality checks is essential for upholding Culture Studio’s quality printing services. This individual will be trained on the Organization of orders as well as how to read tickets and prepare the order for the next step. (example completion of order or fulfillment services needed before completion) Culture Studio stands by its dedication for quality control and organization to ensure every client receives their order with the correct imprints and ready for sale. The Belt Catcher position is a crucial part of our quality control. Every item printed is important and must be accounted for.
Top Priorities
- Ensure each printed unit is up to our quality standards & be able to communicate effectively when it is not during the first sight of the QC Issue.
- Understand and stage the orders based on the next department-tagging/finishing/packing, etc.
- Stay proactive in all QC Stages-setting up orders for success; fixing passable QC issues to ensure QC Passing
Position Duties
- Responsible for every shirt stacked & quality of every shirt off your belt
- Responsible for counts on every size and final count of each job confirming with order
- Accountable for proper stacking and movement of carts and totes. Example: off belt needs another print position, garments go on carts. Off belt goes to another department, garments go in totes. Off belt Completed decoration Fold and put in totes
- Responsible for all paperwork filled out completely and correctly
- The belt catcher is in charge of being knowledgeable in the order coming off the belt (i.e positions, correct ink colors, sizes and styles included in the job)
- Responsible for upholding all safety procedures at all times
- Make necessary adjustments of any Defects that are able to be fixed and up to standard
- Clear communication with team members if an issue arises during production
- Keeping your area clean and organized
- Responsible for preparing garments to be printed when in between press set ups and takedowns ensuring next order is correct and complete.
- Pull TOP samples (If applicable), ensure a sample is at every belt prior to operators running, ensure the sample is stored back in place
Qualifications/Skills (Not Required but preferred)
- Previous Screen Printing experience
- Previous Quality Control experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
