Location: Mesquite, TX 75149
Pay Rate: $15.00 Hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Must be Flexible)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate to ensure all products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This role supports daily quality assurance activities by inspecting inbound and outbound shipments, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect inbound materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform quality checks on outbound orders for accuracy, product condition, and compliance
- Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or defects
- Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and corrective actions
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and OSHA compliance
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous quality control, warehouse, or related experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and shipping documents
- Basic computer skills (data entry, reporting, documentation)
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to differentiate between color variations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Knowledge of quality standards, inspection processes, or SOPs is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Ability to work in warehouse/manufacturing conditions (noise, dust, temperature changes, machinery)
- Ability to climb stairs or ladders and work at heights when needed
- Visual acuity to read labels and instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively for safety and teamwork
